Development Centre

ABOUT THE CENTRE

 

In June 2016, the 1000 m2 Development Center of BPW-Hungária Kft. was handed over, which is responsible for the testing of specific running gear systems and components, function and life time tests, moreover a brake-testing device also takes places here, which is going to be the base for the development of current and new brakes.

Even the braking at 80 km/h speed of a loaded truck’s brake system can be simulated with the help of the inertia test rig! Besides the inertia test rig, new controls has been purchased for the hydro-pulls test system, on which the testing of an entire aggregate can be done and the further purchase of a new control panel for the programming of slave cylinders has also been made. In the renewed department our engineers can make tests on four fields: endurance, vehicle and inertia tests and additional tests (such as bearing-, production supervision and seal tests).
